1. License Overview

All media purchased on MyStockCaribbean is licensed, not sold. A license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the media in accordance with the specific tier purchased. 3. General Restrictions (All Tiers)

Regardless of license tier, you may not:

  • Use media in a manner that is defamatory, pornographic, or otherwise illegal.
  • Use media to imply endorsement by the depicted individual or brand without written consent.
  • Sell, resell, or redistribute the raw media file as a standalone asset.
  • Use media in NFTs, AI training datasets, or generative AI systems without a separate written agreement.
  • Remove or alter any metadata, watermarks, or copyright notices embedded in the media.

4. Editorial Use

Some media on MyStockCaribbean is designated for editorial use only. Editorial media may be used in news articles, blogs, and educational content but may not be used for commercial advertising, product promotion, or any use that implies endorsement. Editorial designations are clearly marked on each media item's detail page.

5. Model and Property Releases

Media marked as "Model Released" or "Property Released" includes valid releases on file, permitting commercial use. Media without release designations should be used for editorial purposes only. MyStockCaribbean does not guarantee the validity of releases for all jurisdictions; buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws.

6. License Duration

All licenses granted by MyStockCaribbean are perpetual for the specific use case at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Licenses do not expire for the permitted use; however, changes in use (e.g., expanding from digital to broadcast) require the purchase of an upgraded license.

7. License Verification

Upon purchase, a license certificate is generated and available in your Buyer Dashboard. We recommend retaining this certificate as proof of license for any future audits or disputes.
